POTATO ROGUER (Noun): AGRICULTURAL INFESTATION EXCAVATION ENGINEER. SURGEON OF THE SPUD FIELD.

Roguing is a term used to describe the physical removal of undesirable plants from seed stock. We locate, remove, note disease/admixture data, and provide a detailed report of all work completed. We work closely with growers and farm managers to provide a targeted roguing service and make recommendations regarding pests and certification. 

We rogue for the following things:

 

Potato Virus Y, Potato Leaf-Roll Virus, Potato Mop-Top Virus, Alfalfa Mosaic Virus, Varietal Mixtures/Off-types, Phytoplasma diseases, and Phytotoxicity.
